Congregational Meeting – Today, After the Morning Service
Today we will have a congregational meeting immediately following the morning service, to hold an election for officer candidates. The following men have been approved by the session: Pat Devine and Ryan Miller (new term) for office of elder; David Eaves, Ethan Mongin, and Robby Townsend for office of deacon.
Faith-Promise Commitments for 2026 – Sunday, November 16th
We will be taking up faith-promise commitments on Sunday, November 16th. Please remember that our missions program is supported by your faith-promise commitments. These committments for 2026 will be received during the morning service, so prayerfully consider your commitment (above and beyond the tithe). Our missions budget currently supports: Rev. & Mrs. Andrew Halsey (Christ Church, Columbus); Mrs. Lucille Anderson (SIM, retired); Rev. & Mrs. Joel Linton (Taiwan); Rev. & Mrs. Paul Wolff (Papua New Guinea); Carolina Pregnancy Center; New Geneva Academy; and Water Mission.
Luke 2 Scripture Memorization
Children ages 4-12 years-old are invited to memorize and recite Luke 2 for our Nine Lessons & Carols service on Christmas Eve. Weekly review will be held in the conference room for ten minutes after the Sunday morning service starting next Sunday November 9th through Dec 22nd. See Jaymi Bragg for more details.
